Jeep’s 2020 Lineup: Look Out for These Great Models

When most people hear Jeep they think of rugged, dependable vehicles that are also enjoyable to drive. Building on their reputation, Jeep’s 2020 lineup does not disappoint, improving to even greater levels on engine power and efficiency, body strength, handling and price. From the 2020 Grand Cherokee to the 2020 Compass, Jeep’s new lineup is looking as attractive as ever.

Here is a quick rundown of what to look for from Jeep this year.

2020 Wrangler

The 2020 Wrangler has many great aspects including a throwback to Jeep’s open-air design. It features all the newest dashboard technology and offers 4WD and a 2.0L turbo engine with 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. That’s some serious Jeep that will be a pleasure for anyone to drive.¹ The 2020 Wrangler is more than capable if you want to head off-road but it is also classy with leather seats and top-notch AC. There is also a larger version of the vehicle available called the Wrangler Unlimited. In a few months the 3.0L V6 diesel with 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque is expected out in the Unlimited category, so serious Wrangler fans have lots to look forward to very soon.²

2020 Gladiator

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is getting good reviews across the board for its great handling and exceptional driving experience. It’s a solid vehicle that is good for time out with the family or getting work done, and although the engine can run a little bit loud it makes up for it in its ability to haul serious weight including trailers up to 7,650 pounds.

The vehicle smoothly hugs the curves and ruts in the trail. It has a five-link coil rear suspension³ along with a removable windshield, roof and doors. It comes with a six-speed manual transmission as a standard but can also run with an eight-speed automatic. It is highly stable off road with good suspension and recirculating-ball steering. With a starting price of $35,000 it’s hard to go wrong.⁴

2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The Jeep Grand Cherokee has a thrumming 475 horsepower V8 engine, automatic eight-speed transmission and the ability to get to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds for the SRT model. With top-notch suspension, great brakes and an even more powerful 707 horsepower Trackhawk model also available, the Grand Cherokee is pure power. The SRT can also haul over 7,000 pounds, so don’t worry about attaching a trailer or hauling around things for work.⁵

With the Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT, Trackhawk, Laredo and Limited models available, the Grand Cherokee has a style and driving model that is right for every buyer, with the SRT starting at only $25,740. The classic body and design will remind you of the legendary Cherokees of old, and fully updated tech inside along with many options for engine strength will give you exactly the kind of acceleration you’re looking for.⁶

2020 Jeep Compass

If you’re looking to find your way, the 2020 Jeep Compass won’t steer you wrong. This vehicle is good for both urban environments and the more off-road.⁷ It has everything you could think of inside with a great entertainment and navigation system and plenty of storage space. This vehicle can also tow up to 2,000 pounds, so it is far from weak. It sports a 180 horsepower 2.4L engine, sunroof and automatic transmission.⁶

2020 Jeep Renegade

Jeep’s 2020 Renegade is in the same class as many of the top-tier off-road vehicles in the world, with skidplates, tires that can handle all the mud you throw at them and decent fuel economy for its size.⁸ Running on a 2.4L Tigershark Multiair engine that is the same as that found in the Compass, the Renegade boasts 160 horsepower and gets 31 miles per gallon average on the highway. Starting at just over $21,000 it is also quite affordable.⁶
